The partnership between Vester Oil and 2SCALE aims to ensure a sustainable supply of raw soybeans to Vester Oil for the production of soybean meal for the poultry industry and oil for human consumption. This is expected to integrate smallholder farmers especially women and youth in the production of soybean to increase productivity, incomes and the livelihoods of smallholder farmers.

About the business champion

Vester Oil is one of the oil seed mill operators in Ghana and specialises in the processing of soy bean, palm kernel and dried coconut into refined edible oils and their residual for domestic and industrial use. They produce mainly oil for human consumption and soybean feeding for poultry companies.
