AVINIGER aims to replace the import of yellow maize from Bobo-Dioulasso (Burkina Faso), a raw material for the production of feed for livestock and poultry, with locally produced corn. The aim is to develop a sustainable local supply system for yellow maize, by involving cooperatives active in the various production basins of the Niger and providing them with quality livestock feed that willimprove their productivity. The goal is to source 5,000 tons of corn per year from local producers to meet the company's production needs. Local sourcing will reduce raw material acquisition and production costs, while making it cheaper and more competitive in the market.
