The Crystal Dominion Foods-2SCALE partnership aims to co-design with other value chain stakeholders, a partnership that integrates smallholder farmers in Crystal Dominion's supply chain. It aims to improve the chain’s performance and upgrade processing and marketing of plantain chips and new products targeting Base of Pyramid consumers.

The business champion- Crystal Dominion Foods- intends to provide more market opportunities for smallholder plantain farmers mainly in the South-Western states of Nigeria. Partners will collaborate to increase the productivity of plantain farmers and improve post-harvest processes to allow a larger, more reliable supply of plantain to the business champion's processing facility. In addition, this partnership will work on the development of more nutritious products based on processed plantain and look at how to improve packaging, branding, and marketing to create more value for BoP consumers.
