About the partnership

PROSEMA (Society for Promotion of Sesame) leads the sesame export market in Mali. It is able to source only 10% of its buyers’ orders and thus seeks to increase both volumes and quality, through a sourcing model based on POs and aggregators. PROSEMA collaborates with the Rural Development Ministry for extension and technical aspects at the production level. The partnership with 2SCALE aims to strengthen networks for sourcing, and to assist PROSEMA in building internal capacity.
